Appeal to man who helped driver from burning car on M25 in Surrey

It followed a crash into the central reservation

Surrey Police are asking a member of the public to contact them after he helped pull a driver out of a burning car.

They were called to reports of a crash at around 6:30am today (16 September).

A blue Ford Mondeo had gone into the central reservation between junction 10 for the A3 at the Wisley Interchange and junction 11 for the A320 at Chertsey.

The driver was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Officers say they want the witness who helped the motorist to get in touch - to assist with their investigation and so they can ensure his welfare.

They are also appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or who has any dashcam footage, to contact them, quoting incident/crime reference number PR/P21199483 via:
