Police had to be called to Newlands Corner near Guildford yesterday (22 November) after a large number of motorcyclists and car enthusiasts turned up - as well as people taking exercise.

Officers said there were concerns of overcrowding in the beauty spot's car park, making social distancing difficult.

The post said at its peak, there were more than 150 bikers there, with a queue for the cafe of about 60 people.

Officers had to close the car park at one stage,

They said they did not need to enforce coronavirus regulations - but they did ask people wanting to go for a walk to find an alternative location.
