Buggy with two young children hit by car during hit and run in Sheerwater

A witness appeal has been launched following a hit and run involving children in Sheerwater near Woking.

Surrey Police say the collision happened on the 29th of October at around 3pm when a car failed to stop at a red light at a pelican crossing on Albert Drive and hit a buggy with two young children in it.

The children were taken to hospital with head injuries and have since been discharged.

The car is described as a bronze Peugeot and police want to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident.
