CCTV image released in connection with Woking assault

Surrey Police are appealing for help to identify a man who they want to speak to in connection with an assault in Woking.

Last Friday (March 17) an assault took place at the Rowbarge Pub in St John's Road, Woking, just before midnight.

It is believed to be an unprovoked attack, which left the 35-year-old victim with serious head and facial injuries, including a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.

The man is in a serious but stable condition in hospital.

The suspect is described as White, of a thin build with dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a blue North Face haf-zipped top and a dark blue Under Armour cap.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident.

An investigation is underway.
