Police have released CCTV images of several men they want to speak to as part of an investigation into thefts of electrical goods in Woking.

Since 18 October this year there have been 14 thefts of electrical goods from the waste electrical bin at the Martyrs Lane refuse centre.

The items are often removed before going to landfill with minor repairs being carried out before they are sold at the refuse centre shop.

Money then gets allocated to various projects that benefit the local community.

In a statement Surrey Police said: “We are appealing to anyone who may recognise the men to get in touch with us.

“If you can help us, please contact us quoting crime reference number PR/45210112622 via 101.

“If you do not wish to leave your name, please call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
