Cat rescued from fire in Epsom

Crews were on the scene for 9 hours

Firefighters have spent 9 hours tackling a blaze in Epsom.

They were called to a row of three terraced houses off Middle Lane at 11.03am yesterday morning (3 April). At its height, there were 8 fire engines and an aerial ladder platform on the scene.

It's not thought anyone was hurt, but a cat was rescued from inside one of the properties.

Fire crews left the scene at 8.04pm.
