Car driven at person outside KFC in Ashford

Someone at the restaurant was also assaulted

A car has been driven at a person outside a fast food restaurant in Ashford.

It happened at around 10:20pm on Friday night outside the KFC on Church Road.

A man entered the restaurant and was verbally abusive towards staff, before going outside and getting into a dark grey car.

One of the victims went outside to talk to the man, at which point the vehicle was reversed towards them.

The first suspect, along with a second man who was in the car, then forced their way back into the restaurant.

A person was punched in the neck and both men made threats towards staff before leaving the restaurant and driving away.

The first suspect is described as Black, with black curly hair and a black moustache and beard. He is believed to be in his mid-20s and was wearing a black jacket, denim jeans and black top.

The second suspect is described as Black and in his mid-20s. He was wearing a baseball cap and a black jacket.

Surrey Police are now looking for witnesses.
