Cannabis farm found growing in Old Woking
A cannabis farm has been found growing in Old Woking.
Officers were called to an address in the east of the area on 23 August.
It followed reports of a cannabis farm from a member of the public.
Around 200 cannabis plants were discovered and destroyed.
No arrests have been made at this time and enquiries remain ongoing.
In a statement Surrey Police added: “Cannabis can have a significant detriment to people’s lives and funds criminality and exploitation.
“If you see or hear anything suspicious, please contact us, any information, no matter how small you think it might be, can help us protect our local community.”
For operational reasons, the force is not releasing further details about the location.
