Cannabis factory discovered in Aldershot town centre

A man has been arrested after Police discovered a cannabis factory in Aldershot.

Officers attended an address on High Street at around 1pm yesterday (15 August) and located more than 500 plants in various stages of growth.

A 22-year-old man from London has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating a cannabis plant, a Class B controlled drug.

He remains in custody while enquiries continue.
