Camberley man among five charged over Spanish drugs investigation

The probe was lunched after a large amount of cocaine was seized in Madrid

A 32-year-old from Camberley is among five people to have been charged with conspiracy to import class A drugs.

It follows a joint investigation between Spanish National Police and officers in the UK after a large quantity of cocaine was seized in Madrid in May 2019.

The group, four men and a woman, appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court last Wednesday (23 February).

Mark Lockyer, aged 32 of Calvin Close, Camberley, Surrey; Alan Harris, aged 42 of Boston Manor Road, Brentford, London; Mark Plume, aged 41 of Lampards Close, Wedmans Lan, Rotherwick, Hock, Hampshire and John Anderson, aged 55 of Oak Avenue, Hampton, Richmond-Upon-Thames have all been remanded.

Donna Flynn, aged 36 of Little Woodlands, Windsor has been released on bail.

They are all due to appear at Guildford Crown Court on 18 March.
