Teenager attacked in robbery in East Hampshire

A man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in East Hampshire in which a teenager was attacked.

It happened just before 8pm last night (11 April) at the Newmans Collard Recreational Ground in Liss.

A 17-year-old was approached by a stranger who asked for a lighter.

The boy was then assaulted and his bag stolen - suffering minor injuries as a result.

A 21-year-old man from Hayling Island has been arrested on suspicion of robbery and remains in custody at this time.
