Body found thought to be that of missing Leatherhead woman

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of her death

Surrey Police say a body has been found, believed to be that of missing Leatherhead woman Natalie McCallum.

Officers had appealed for information to find the 42-year-old, who was reported missing yesterday afternoon (20 January).

The discovery was made in Beachy Head, East Sussex at around 12.30pm today (21 January).

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of her death.

In a statement Surrey Police said: "Although formal identification is yet to take place, Natalie’s family are aware and being given the appropriate support.

"Our thoughts remain with them at this difficult time.

"We would like to thank everyone who shared our appeal and assisted with the search."
