Body found in search for missing man in East Hampshire
Police believe they've found the body of Ian Taylor, who was last seen in Lindford in October
Police say a body found in East Hampshire is believed to be that of a man who went missing in October.
Ian Taylor was last seen at a shop in the Lindford area at around 9pm on Thursday 10th October 2024.
The discovery was made in Headley Down near Bordon yesterday (Friday 20th December 2024).
The 75 year old's death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said:
"Officers searching for missing Ian Taylor have now sadly found a body.
"The discovery was made yesterday (December 20) in Headley Down.
"Formal identification has not been completed at this time, but it is believed to be Ian and his family have been informed.
"Ian's death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
