Body found in Godalming during search for missing woman

A body, believed to be that of a missing woman has been found in Godalming.

Police announced on Sunday (24 April) that the discovery had been made in Woodland in Godalming.

Her family are aware and being given the appropriate support from specially trained officers.

Surrey Police say enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the death, although it is not believed to be suspicious and there is no evidence of any third party involvement at this time.
