Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after reports of an assault at Thorpe Park - involving a group of teens spitting at people.

It happened on the evening of Sunday 6 June, between 6 and 7pm, as a family of four were passing the information desk at the water slides by The Dome.

As they walked out a group of four teenage boys waiting in line on the stairs for a water slide started spitting at them.

Police say the parents were concerned that their eight-year-old daughter had been deliberately targeted because she has a shaved head due to cancer treatment.

The four suspects are described as 17 year-old boys, all around 5’8 tall.

The boy who spat on the girl was described as Mediterranean, with curly black brown hair and wearing a black t-shirt.

The other boys were described as white. One had short blonde hair and wore a black t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms. One was wearing shorts and a t-shirt with a side pouch.

Surrey Police are asking that if you witnessed this incident or know anything that can help identify the boys involved, to get in touch quoting PR/45210059001, via:
