Man arrested after car appears to drive at pedestrians outside Guildford pub

A man has been arrested after a car appeared to have been driven at two pedestrians outside a pub in Guildford.

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident outside the Weyside pub on Tuesday 20 July at around 10pm.

A 39-year-old man from Guildford has since been arrested on suspicion of stalking and attempted GBH, and has been released on conditional bail.

Detective Constable Kristian Baker said:

“We have made an arrest but are keen to talk to anyone who may have dash cam footage from the area during that evening to help us understand exactly what took place."
