Armed police called to Woking after reports of man with knife
A man has been arrested following a search by officers.
A man has been arrested following reports of a person armed with a knife in Woking.
Firearms officers, along with a dog unit and the police helicopter, were deployed in the town earlier this morning (19 October).
Officers received a call at around 8.45am reporting that a man with a knife was believed to be in the area, prompting a large police response.
Following a search, a man was arrested in Hawthorn Road shortly afterwards.
He remains in custody.
