Appeal to find driver of van in Lightwater
After a serious collision on A322
Police are appealing for help to identify the driver of a van who may have witnessed a fatal collision on the A322 in Lightwater in the early hours of Tuesday morning (1 November).
The incident occurred on the A322 near Broadway Road after a single car, a Ford Fiesta Zetec, collided with a bridge.
The female driver, who was in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female passenger had to be freed by fire crews and has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
We would like to trace the driver of a van seen near the collision, as we believe they may be able to help with our enquiries.
The van possibly had writing or a logo on it and was travelling on the same stretch of the A322 at around 2.50am. {{listenlive}}
