Appeal for witnesses after child seriously injured in Ewell crash

Police in Surrey are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Ewell - which left an eight year old girl with serious injuries.

Officers were called to London Road (A24) shortly after 3.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, 4 June), following reports of a collision between the rider of a motorbike and a pedestrian at the location. The road was closed but has now been fully reopened.

The pedestrian, an eight-year-old girl, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Two men, aged 23 and 44, have been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving.
