Aldershot and Farnborough Warm Hubs open to welcome people in from the cold

Aldershot and Farnborough have several hubs open.

Libraries across Hampshire are continuing to open to the public to get warm and to save on their energy bills.

The warm spaces across East Hampshire are opening for those who need a place to go to work, study, connect with others and keep warm.

Access to free WiFi is provided as well as public computers. Books, newspapers and magazines, board games and jigsaw puzzles, and various events.

There's also free weekly community connections session at Aldershot library, on Wednesdays from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.

Warm hubs can be found in libraries across East Hampshire, including:

Farnborough library - Pinehurst, Farnborough, GU14 7JZ

Aldershot places to keep warm

Open House coffee morning, Park Church, every Tuesday from 10.30am to 11.45am.

Aldershot warm hub, run by Salvation Army, Aldershot every Tuesday and Wednesday, 9.30am to 2.30pm. The warm hub offers free tea and coffee and hot soup at lunchtime.

The Cosy hub at The Vine Centre is a space for you to chat with friends, charge your phone, get support or read a magazine or book. They are open every Wednesday and Thursday, 10am to 4pm.

Farnborough places to keep warm

Altogether, Farnborough Baptist Church offers a drop in for coffee, conversation, games and crafts, every Friday from 10.30am to early afternoon.

The Warm welcome lounge is open every Thursday, from 3pm to 8pm, upstairs at St Peter's Parish Centre.

Footprints soup and coffee afternoon, St John's Church, every Wednesday, 1.30pm to 4.30pm at St John's Church.
