Warning about aerosols in cars after person suffers burns
Surrey Fire and Rescue have issued a warning about aerosols.
It's after they say they attended an incident where a person sustained serious injuries when they sprayed an air freshener in their car and then started up the engine.
The key turning in the ignition caused a flash fire which caused burns to their face, legs and hands.
In a post on Facebook the fire service said:
"Please take care around aerosols, do not spray them near any heat or source of ignition, and always make sure that areas are well vented afterwards."
