6-year-old child punched in road rage incident
It happened in Guildford
Police are investigating reports a 6-year-old child has been punched in the stomach in a road rage attack in Guildford.
It's claimed it happened on Saturday the 9th of April on Guildford Road at the junction with Pirbright Road.
Officers say the child was in the back of a grey Toyota Hilux 4x4 parked on the A323 junction of Guildford Road and Pirbright Road.
It was reported a man opened the rear car door and punched the child in the stomach before getting back into his car and driving off.
A 44-year-old man from Camberley has been arrested in connection with this investigation. He has since been released under investigation.
Investigating officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the assault or have any further information or dashcam footage to contact them on the 101 number.
