A yellow weather warning is in place for much of the East of England till midnight tonight.
Its thought the rain and thunder will hit the East this afternoon along with some potential hail. Despite this, it will still remain quite humid.
Meteorologist Jonathan Vautrey says people need to take:
“There is a potential for localised flooding, where we could see over half a month’s worth of rainfall in an hour or so”
“That could provide some tricky travel conditions for people out and about.”
