Woodbridge branch of M&Co shuts its doors for good
It's just the latest branch of the retailer to go after the chain fell into administration
A Suffolk branch of fashion retailer M&Co has shut its doors for good.
The outlet on The Thoroughfare in Woodbridge was the latest to go yesterday, after the brand collapsed into administration.
In a message posted on social media, management at the store paid tribute to "all our customers for their loyalty over the years."
The Scotland-based company, originally known as Mackay's, appointed administrators for the second time last year after previously collapsing.
AK Retail Holidings have bought over the brand, but did not buy the stores, meaning they'll now close in the coming weeks.
The Beccles branch of M&Co has already gone, with stores in Haverhill, Stowmarket and Sudbury remaining open for now.
