Woman knocked unconscious in Needham Market

A woman's been knocked out by an unknown object while walking her dog in Needham Market.

She was struck in the head at Bloomfields at around 5.20pm on Tuesday (16 November), but when she came to there was no sign of anyone, and nothing had been taken from her.

Inspector Neil McKay said:

“We are in the early stages of this investigation and are working with the victim to understand the circumstances of this incident.

“Officers have been carrying out patrols in a bid to speak with regular dog walkers in the area who may have seen or heard anything suspicious, and we are appealing to anyone who may have information to contact us.”
