Woman dies after crash near Suffolk Food Hall in Wherstead
The woman, thought to be in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene
A woman has died after a crash in Wherstead this morning.
Police were called at 7:25am to The Stand, close to the entrance of the Suffolk Food Hall.
A red Ford Fiesta and a white Isuzu D-Max pick-up were involved in the collision.
Ambulance crews were also called out but despite the best efforts of paramedics a woman in her 30s died at the scene.
Officers are urging anyone who saw what happened, or who captured dashcam footage in the area at the time, to get in touch.
