Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Ipswich.

The incident happened at around 2:30pm yesterday, Wednesday 15 January on Chesterfield Drive.

A woman was out walking when she was bitten in the knee by a dog causing injury. The dog is described as a beige, medium sized Greyhound type breed, which was being walked by a man described as 60-70years of age, clean shaven who was wearing a grey / black big coat and a flat cap.

Anyone who believes they may know this man, or who has any information regarding this incident, is asked to contact police.
