Woman attacked on doorstep during attempted robbery in Lowestoft
The victim was sprayed with an unknown liquid during the incident this morning

A woman has been sprayed in the face with an unknown liquid during an attempted robbery in Lowestoft this morning.
The victim answered her door on Spexhall Way between 6:40am and 6:50am this morning (January 31) to a man who threw a substance in her face and shouted "It's the police".
The suspect then entered the house and demanded money, but ultimately left empty handed on a bike.
The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics and didn't need treatment in hospital.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone who captured dashcam footage in the area at the time to get in touch.
