Woman assaulted by man with weapon in Stowmarket
She was assaulted while getting out of a car on Monday night
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was assaulted by a man carrying a weapon on a street in Stowmarket.
This happened as the victim was standing in Hollingsworth Road between 9:45pm and 9:50pm on Monday night.
She was attacked after taking a phone call as she got out of her car.
An unknown man hit her from behind before running off towards Ipswich Street.
The victim was treated by a first aider.
