Witness appeal after young girl approached by man in Mendlesham
The 11 year-old was unhurt.
Police have launched a witness appeal after an 11 year-old girl was approached by an unknown man in Mendlesham.
The child was on a footpath on Glebe Way on Friday 23rd April, when she was approached by an elderly man who commented that she "looked pretty" before reaching out to her.
The girl went home and was unhurt.
Police say the man's described as white, aged 75 to 80, average build, with white hair and white tufts, had a distinctive gold tooth to the right side, and was wearing a cream coloured shirt.
