Both men had admitted possessing of cocaine with intent to supply and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

They each received three and half years in prison.

They were both arrested about six weeks earlier on Tuesday 6 June by officers from the Operation Sentinel team - which works on the county's road networks.

Krrashi was stopped on Berners Street and following a Misuse of Drugs Act search was found to be in possession of 11 bags of cocaine.

A search of his room uncovered a further 53 bags of cocaine and £220 in cash.

Eduard Peposhi was also found within the address and detained.

Police found his mobile phone contained evidence of drug supply, while a search of his room found 27 bags of cocaine and £280 in cash.

They were both arrested and taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre where they were both subsequently charged.

Officers tell us Krrashis’s mobile showed his drug dealing activity had been going on since 19 March 2023 and a total number of deals worth over £56,000, whilst Peposhi’s showed his drug activity has been going on since 4 March this year, with deals worth over £65,000.

Sgt Dave Logan from the Sentinel team said: “This sentence came about from a tip off from a member of the public who expressed concern to us about the pair’s activity and who stated they were consistently out on electric bike all times of the day and night.

"Our patrols the following week picked up on Krrashi leaving his address on an e-bike and following a stop, the evidence was uncovered.

"It just goes to show if you have concerns in your area about drug dealing, please do tell us and we will act on it – the intelligence we receive is our lifeblood in terms of tracking down and convicting such dealers.”
