Two charged with drugs offences after raids in Newmarket

The pair are accused of supplying Class A drugs

Two men have been charged with drugs offences after a series of raids in Newmarket earlier this week.

Officers searched properties on Bill Rickaby Drive and Willow Crescent on Tuesday (November 8), recovering drugs paraphernalia, mobile phones, cash and a samurai sword.

21 year old Soren Price of Bill Rickaby Drive in Newmarket is charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs, namely crack cocaine and heroin.

19 year old Vinnie Whittred of Willow Crescent in Newmarket is accused of with two counts of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin.

The pair appeared at Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday (November 9) and have been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on December 7.

A 20 year old, who was also arrested, has been released under investigation.
