Two charged after drugs raid in Lowestoft

Four people have been arrested and one man charged after a raid targeting suspected drug dealing in Lowestoft.

Officers conducted a search at a flat on the High Street on April 13 after receiving information about the sale of controlled substance in the town.

33 year old Nicky Bates of no fixed address but from Lowestoft was charged with being concerned in supply of cocaine; being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

He's been remanded in custody and appeared before Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday (April 14).

20 year old Reece Osborne of no fixed address was arrested and charged with failing to appeal before court. He's been remanded in custody ahead of an apperance at Norwich Magistrates on May 11.

A 47 year old man was also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying drugs and two counts of assault and has been released on bail.

A 39 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in supplying drugs and has been bailed until July 10.
