The Met Office has issued a yellow thunderstorm warning for Norfolk and Suffolk.

Intense thunderstorms are expected across the region.

Meteorologists have said that thunderstorms will cause spray and sudden flooding in the areas affected, which could cause disruption on the roads.

Some communities have also been warned they could be temporarily cut off due to the amount of rainfall.

Power cuts are also expected, according to the Met Office and that businesses and homes could be hit during the course of the warning.

The warning is set to last until later in the evening.
