Three teens arrested following stabbing in Whitehouse

The victim has injuries described as life-threating and his condition remains serious

Three teenagers have been arrested after a man sustained serious injuries during an attack in north-west Ipswich.

Suffolk Police were called at just before 1.50am Wednesday (3 September) morning to reports of an incident in Whitehouse Park.

An altercation is reported to have taken place between a group of three teenage males and a group of four adults, resulting in one of the four adults – a man aged in his 30s – being stabbed.

Officers arrived at the scene within a matter of minutes and three male suspects were quickly identified and arrested in the Whitehouse area within an hour of police being called.

The three – two men aged 19 and a 17-year-old boy – were all arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm and were taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre, where they currently remain for questioning.
