Three people seriously injured after 'explosion' in Great Cornard

Police are continuing to investigate reports of an explosion at a pub.

Investigations are continuing into reports of an explosion at a pub in Great Cornard which has left three people in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries.

Emergency services were called to the King's Head in Bures Road at around 10pm on Saturday 24th April to reports of an explosion.

It's believed a small portable fuel heater had caught fire.

Two females and a male were taken to hospital with serious injuries, which are not thought to be life-threatening, but are potentially life-changing.

Police are asking anyone who saw what happened to get in touch with them, quoting reference 37/20827/21.
