Three females seriously injured after large fence falls on them in Ipswich

Police are investigating following the incident in Ipswich.

Three females have been taken to hospital with serious injuries after reports a large fence fell on them.

Police were called by the East of England Ambulance service just after 6.30pm on Sunday 13th December to Grafton Way opposite Cardinal Park.

It was reporting some "large fencing" had fallen onto three pedestrians.

All three were taken to Ipswich Hospital by ambulance - none of the injuries are thought to be life-changing or life-threatening at this time.

Officers say they're looking into the circumstances of the incident and enquiries are continuing.

Anyone who saw what happened or was driving along Grafton Way at around 6.30pm and who may have relevant dash-cam footage are asked to contact Ipswich CID quoting CAD 258 of 13th December.
