Teenager grabbed round the neck by man in Corton

Police are appealing for witnesses.

A 16 year-old boy was going past Corton Woods on Wednesday 7th April at about 10pm when a man walking on the same footpath grabbed his left arm.

Police say there was a struggle and then the man grabbed the boy's neck before the boy pushed him off and cycled away.

The same male got into a black vehicle and drop up to the victim and asked if his name was Jack.

When the boy said 'no', the man apologised for grabbing him and drove off in the direction of Corton.

Police say the suspect is described as white, approximately 6ft tall, with a bald head, and was about 40 years old, dressed in a blue turquoise top.

He was driving a black vehicle, possibly a Zafira.
