Teen robbed of bike in Ipswich

A teenager's been left shaken after being pushed off his bike in Ipswich.

The 15-year-old was in Whitehouse Park in White House Road at around 2.15pm last Monday afternoon (8 February), when a stranger, wearing a face mask, knocked him off and stole the bike, cycling off towards Meredith Road.

The boy wasn't left with any lasting injuries.

The robber, who was a man, is believed to have been wearing black clothing and grey shoes.

The black Lapierre Xm127 mountain bike had red writing on the frame and front wheel and grey on the rear wheel.

Detectives would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened, or anyone who saw a person matching this description and who may have been riding a bike on the afternoon in question.
