Teen injured in Bures assault

A teenager has been left with head injuries, after being assaulted in Bures.
It happened in a park near Nayland Road at around 3.20pm on Sunday afternoon (17 July), when he was punched and kicked, leaving him in need of hospital treatment. His injuries aren't thought to be serious.
Two teenagers from Colchester were arrested and have since been released under investigation.
Police would like to hear from anyone who saw what happened.
