Teen bailed in connection with Ipswich stabbing

Police have released an 18-year-old man on bail in connection with a stabbing in Ipswich.

Officers were called to Cardinal Park area of the town at about 3.05am on Friday 30 July to a report of a serious assault after an incident of disorder involving a small number of males.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. He was taken to Martlesham Police Investigation Centre and was released on bail until Thursday 26 August.

The victim remains in a stable condition in hospital.
