Teen assaulted in Stowmarket

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenage boy was assaulted in Stowmarket.

It happened on Thursday 25 March at around 4pm on Old Station Road in the town. A small group of teenagers, all on their bikes, were approached by man who confronted them, alleging that they had dropped some litter.

It is reported that he then pushed one of the boys in the chest three times and used abusive language before walking off. The boy was not injured. The man, who was with a woman, then walked away.

The man is described as white, in his 20s, tall, with blonde hair and was wearing glasses.
