Man suffers potentially life-changing injuries in Sutton crash
The crash occurred on Heath Road in the early hours of Saturday morning
A man's suffered potentially changing injuries following a serious crash in Sutton.
Suffolk Police were called to reports of a single vehicle collision on Heath Road at 4:33am on Saturday.
The East of England Ambulance Service, Suffolk Fire & Rescue Service, and paramedics from Suffolk Accident Rescue Service also attended the crash.
The road was closed for several hours as recovery and investigation work took place.
A male passenger in the car, a Seat Ibiza, sustained potentially life-changing injuries and was taken to hospital, along with the driver and two other passengers.
A 23-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving, driving whilst unfit through drink, and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He's been released from hospital, and questioned by detectives at the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
