Suffolk woman killed in car crash named by police

A woman from Suffolk who died after being hit by a car in Chelsea yesterday has been named by police.

Oliva Riley was pronounced dead at the scene at around 6am, after officers attended with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service.

The 41-year-old had been walking her three dogs at the time of the incident, they also died as a result of their injuries.

The driver of the car, a 26-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and was taken into police custody.

Police are appealing for information from anyone who witnessed the collision to call 101.
