Rail strikes hit Greater Anglia services in Suffolk today

There will be very limited services on Greater Anglia across Suffolk today as members of the ASLEF union walk out over pay.

Disruption is also expected across the UK on Thursday, Friday and Saturday because of the strikes.

Many parts of the Greater Anglia network aren't operating with a reduced service to and from London today.

The first trains will start later and the last trains will leave much earlier.

Passengers are advised to find alternative ways to travel and to only travel by train if absolutely necessary.

Other train operators are affected by industrial action which could impact onward journeys.

Customers who have already purchased tickets for strike days can claim a full refund or amend their ticket.

Those who travel and are delayed may be entitled to delay repay compensation if they are delayed by 15 minutes or more.

Season-ticket holders can apply for compensation through the Delay Repay scheme.

No services will operate today between Cambridge and Liverpool Street or on regional/branch lines

There's a reduced service of one train per hour between Norwich and London, Colchester and Southend Victoria and Liverpool Street and on the Stansted Express.

Southend Victoria to London Liverpool Street:

1 train per hour

First train: 08:13

Last train: 22:00

London Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria:

1 train per hour

First train: 09:47

Last train: 23:45

Stansted Airport to London Liverpool Street:

1 train per hour

First train: 05:30

Last train: 23:42
