Suffolk Police are marking National Police Memorial Day )26 September.
A service is being held at Lincoln Cathedral in Lincolnshire to remember fallen colleagues.
Chair of the Suffolk Police Federation Darren Harris said:
"Today does mean a lot.
"We see ourselves at Suffolk Constabulary as a family and we're all one big family and it really hits the whole Force when we lose an officer."
