Suffolk man arrested after going on the run over £765,000 fraud conviction
Wayne Parker, of Mildenhall, was found guilty last year but failed to turn up to court for sentencing
A Mildenhall man who was convicted of fraud totalling around £765,000 has been arrested, after going on the run ahead of his sentencing.
31 year old Wayne Parker was found guilty last October of obtaining hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of credit from suppliers and making no attempt to settle his debts.
He claimed to be a livestock owner, something which enabled him to access to a large of credit with several different companies.
He had been on the run since February after failing to appear in court to hear his sentence being handed down.
Park was arrested on Thursday last week at a service station near Basingstoke.
He appeared before Ipswich Crown Court on Friday and has been remanded into custody ahead of a sentencing hearing on September 19.
