A charity in Suffolk offers low-cost roast dinners all of December for those struggling with rising costs
Emmaus will be providing all the fixings every Sunday until the 22nd.
A charity in Suffolk is offering a roast dinner every Sunday, at a lower cost, to support to those struggling with rising costs.
Emmaus Suffolk say it'll be freshly prepared by their cooks and will be accompanied by some Christmas spirit with crackers, festive bunting and games at the Royal Oak Community Cafe in Ipswich.
Claire Staddon says that nobody will walk away hungry: "We're very aware of all of us struggling. The challenges with feeding yourself well are becoming more and more complicated."
"We're passionate about making sure that people eat good quality food as well as affordable food and that's not always something that you can do for yourself at home."
"We've had a 20-30% improvement through people participating in activities in our well-being hubs, both at the Royal Oak and across all the other sites that we have."
"This is an opportunity for us to pick up all the hard work for you, for you to just walk in and have a lovely time."
