Sudden death in Saxmundham
A woman is confirmed to have died
Police have confirmed that a woman has died in Saxmundham.
Officers were called at approximately 9.20am today, Wednesday 28 April, following reports of a medical emergency within an address in Chapel Road.
An ambulance, a first responder and an air ambulance attended but the woman, who was aged in her 70s, was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.
A cordon remains in place while an investigation into the circumstances continues.
The death remains unexplained at this time.
Next of kin have been informed.
