Woman hit and pinned to the floor in Sudbury attempted robbery
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward

An 18-year-old woman has been left with bruises and scratches following an attempted robbery in Sudbury.
She was with a 20-year-old man on Girling Road when they were approached by two males between 9 and 9.30pm on Monday (12 April).
One of them asked for a lighter and then asked if they wanted to buy cannabis, they both said no and the second male began demanding money from them.
He then hit the female victim in her face and she fell to the floor.
Both victims tried to run away but the second male caught up with them and pushed her to the floor and pinned her down, before escaping the area empty handed.
The first suspect is described as a white male with curly brown hair in a pony tail, aged around 25, five foot 10 inches tall and had a long bushy beard.
He was wearing a checked navy shirt, dark trousers and dark trainers.
The second is described as white with short brown hair, a gingery beard, 20 to 25-years-old, of a skinny build and around the same height as the other suspect.
He was wearing dark tracksuit bottoms and a grey waterproof jacket.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information to get in touch.
